Day number 7: An Unexpected Party

At 8:45 I came out of dreamland and entered reality. I only had one class that day and it was at 10:30, so I got ready at my leisure. At 10:00 I left for the shuttle stop. Checking and double checking to make sure I had my keys with me. I pushed the heavy glass door open and was greeted by a strong icy wind mixed with large flakes of snow. Great, so not only would I be concentrating on the slick ground and also trying to keep my eyes open against the blowing winds. I was doomed.

It goes without say that I walked slowly to the stop.

I stepped up the wet steps into the crowded shuttle. I stood in the back and concentrated hard on not falling over onto the lap of the person sitting beside me. My wrist ached when we got to campus from holding on so tightly. The marquee on the union building informed my it was only 9:50.
Still too early.
With nothing else to do I went to the Union building and sat in the closest couch to the door to wait. I read and listened to the conversations around me until 10:20 when I went to class.

I sat in the back in a comfy chair. In that class we introduced ourselves to the class, I turned very red like always, and then watched J.K. Rowling's' address to the Harvard University graduation class.

When the class ended I packed my backpack and left the room. Outside the classroom there was an unexpected visitor.
Bilbo Baggins at your service.
Thinking it was there for promotional reasons I walked by. I stopped walking shortly, my mom and cousin, Tamsyn were standing down the hall laughing.
"Wait is he for me," I asked regarding the cutout of the hobbit.
"Well you needed a friend." my mom mentioned, "so we brought you a friend."

We braved to blizzard raging outside and took my old friend back to my dorm then we went downtown to Walmart to replenish my supplies. We stopped at Five Guys for lunch then returned to the University Village.

After awhile they left and I went to bed.
