The highlights of Thursday was first I asked Yang Yang and Bora Yeon, my roommates, if they would like to go to church with me on Sunday.
Yang Yang said she would think about it, but Bora almost immediately said yes and that is was important to her to see my religion.
Success!
Awkward moments are going to happen on Sunday though. I don't know if I put this in the post but I kind of lied to the missionary without realizing it at the time. You see I keep losing track of the week so I keep thinking that Tamsyn's farewell is the Sunday that week. I've done it twice now. I thought that the farewell was last Sunday and now I thought it was this Sunday.
Anyway so I told Elder Siswick that I wouldn't be at church that Sunday because I was going to be at my favorite cousin's mission farewell so I wouldn't be able to complete his challenge that week. Well then when I went home I smack my palm to my forehead. I just remembered, for the second time this month, that her farewell was NOT this Sunday but the 26th.
I had lied to a English missionary. I don't want to get on the English missionary's bad side. I am doomed, but hopefully bringing at least one of my roommates will make it all OK.
