The life givers 111th birthday!

This week I came home for the weekend. I came home on Thursday. Mom, dad, Marin, Nicolas, and I left on Friday and drove to Mesquite. We stayed with Kaye and Todd that night. It rained all night long and the thunder was loud.
On Saturday we left Mesquite and drove back to St George, Utah. We met up with Jeff, Alison, and Megyn. Grandma and Grandpa were with them. The family was at Golden Corral where we met up with the Vests.
There were the little Randalls, the big Randalls, and the grand Randalls, the Joneses, and the Vests all at Golden Corral.
After eating a lot of food the family went to the chapel to watch Daphne be baptized.

After the great day with the family we began the long drive home. It was a nice drive home until we reached Fillmore when the snow thickened, I think I wasn't entirely awake for the ride after we left Beaver.

Today is my dad's birthday! I made french bread for his dinner. We blew up balloons, Meeko is not very happy about that. Now we are watching Star Trek the Wrath of Khan in honor of Leonard Nimoy. Live Long and Prosper, Spock.

This has been a great weekend and I am not excited to go back tomorrow. :p

After a long absence, I am back.

First things first, I apologize for not posting anything for so long. When I don't have school or work and I am done with homework I tend to get lazy.

You all will be glad to know that my time up here has been much better than last year. My classes seem to be easier, and I actually have friends in said classes. My roommates are much better. I don't have as much free time as last year. I feel more organized. Overall it has been truly great.

First I want to talk about my classes, I am taking a total of 4 college classes and 2 institute classes.

  • My college classes are: Biological anthropology, English 1010, Math 0990 (don't make fun of me, math is hard), and Psychology. My anthropology class is very small and we have small group discussions so by the end of the year I should know almost everyone in there. I do have a friend though, her name is Anali. She helps me get ready for tests and if I miss anything she helps me out. My English class is the same, it is very small, and the reason why is that it is an accelerated course. This means that it is only for 8 weeks. If you just counted, you know that I only have a few weeks left. You are probably wondering how I can learn the same amount of things in 8 weeks that I would in a full standard course that goes on for 4 months. We write papers every week. It's been quite easy actually. My math class is also small and I have the same professor as last year, so he already knows me, and how I learn. I am ahead in that class, unlike last year. My psychology class is that only class that isn't small. It is a distance ed class but we are lucky enough to have the actual professor in the classroom. My friend in that class is Erica, she is pretty much awesome, we became like best friends after a day really. She makes me cookies and takes me to Chick-fil-a.
  • On to my institute classes, I am taking the second half of the BoM. The class consists of mostly girls and there are only about 12 people in there. The crazy thing about that class is that the teacher is a WOMAN! Wha?? A female institute teacher! I've never seen that before. The second one I went to because a friend, her name is Alexa and she is in my ward, asked me to go and try it. It is Dating and Courtship, hahahaha yes I go to a class about dating and courtship. Actually it is mostly about being a classy lady and not being an awkward person. I need all the help I can get!
My roommates have been a lot better than last year!
  • My roommate's names are: Annie, Jessica and Emily.
  • I don't see them often because they all tend to either stay in the rooms or go out with friends but they are clean and that is very nice because last year my roommates were not clean. They speak English and they are respectful and quiet past hours. Sometimes it is too quiet and I feel like a live alone, which is actually very appealing to me. Although sometimes I want some noise. They should party more. I'll be okay with that.
My free time is limited.
  • I know what you're thinking, how is this a good thing?
  • Let me tell you, I would rather be doing something then nothing at all. Therefore having school full time and work part time, I feel less bored and I have more purpose. Which is nice everyone wants to feel purpose.
Feeling organized.
  • Well just look at how I set up this post. Plus I keep a planner that I write in everyday, where ever I go. I stick to my schedule too.
So that is pretty much how my semester has been going.

Now I want to go to the zoo and go hiking. Family we should plan a time to go and meet up at the zoo, and then plan another time to go hiking. :)

Stay happy my friends.

The the the the bus!

Today was my first day of work up here in Ogden.

In the morning I left my room and walked down to the bus stop by the hospital. Of course being me, I left too early so I had to wait there for a half hour until it was 9:30.
When the bus finally came I asked the kind gentleman if he knew which stop to get off at and he in a heavily accented voice told me he would help me out.
Around 10 I get to the stop and he tells me that I'm good to get off. I was still a few blocks away from the Megaplex though so I walked two blocks north and one block east.

I made it to work. Early. So the floor assistant manager Jenny gave me a quick tour until my DL Megan arrived. When Megan (who is now like my best friend up here) got there she gave me some more training then I helped her set up 2 birthday party event.

After that I was on my own selling tickets.

At the end of my shift I counted my till and Megan was kind enough to drive me back to the UV.
Now I am stuffing my face because I haven't had anything to eat since breakfast, and some popcorn when I was on break but that doesn't really count because popcorn isn't real food.

Sleep well my friends!

I'm giving it another go! College take 2

I think its about time that I went on another adventure.

After working throughout the summer and the winter at two jobs and an unofficial 3rd job I have decided that I would like to give it a go. (It's a code signal)

There are still some things that I am still trying to work out, like transportation to and from work and schedule stuff, but I know that everything will fall into place and that everything will turn out better than last year.

The life giver -my PAPA- dropped me off at school today. We first checked into my room and stuff like that then we went to campus to renew my UTA pass, I'm not sure that is what happened though because the guy there gave me a new Weber State Id card. Weird. . .
After that we struggled to find our way to Walmart, the good one not the creepy Walmart, then we bought me some essentials like food and whatnot.
ps I only bought one box of Hotpockets and no pizza.
*High five through the computer*

Once I had the things I needed to sustain life we went to the Megaplex theatres, where I will be working, and got some things done there.
We dropped the purchases off in my room and then went to Subway EAT FRESH, and we had some delectable food. After that my PAPA dropped me off and I was flying solo.

I didn't do much I unpacked, figured out when church was (1:00 church SUCK IT 9amers), wrote this post, ate some dinner and I'm probably going to go to sleep because I'm really tired.

I love you all and I appreciate your support.

Sorry for the music in the background I forgot to turn it off.

On a side note the song is called Daniel in the Den by Bastille.
